With over 30 years behind the camera, as a teacher, photojournalist, artist and portraitist, I love capturing the authentic you with my camera. I strive to catch truth in the emotions you are feeling so that the photos not only make you feel good but also help you show people who you are.
During my time as a full-time photojournalist I was able to capture everything from emotional soldier deployments and homecomings, professional, college and high school sporting events to concerts, galas, street fairs and other newsworthy topics.
As a portrait photographer, I have been blessed with clients who allow me to show them the beauty of their truest self. I never want a client to look at an image and not recognize anything of themselves in it. To accomplish this we will talk during the session, and I will encourage you prior to the session to let me know anything about you, your likes and dislikes that will assist us as we complete our collaboration on your photos.
As an art photographer I love to focus on the visuals that make up the world and tell our history, especially architecture and statues that stand in remembrance of those who have gone on to a better place. I do commissioned pieces for clients wanting to have a custom piece on their walls.
REASONS NOT TO HIRE ME
1) You don't like to have fun,
2) You don't like to have conversations with potential new friends.
3) You already have a photographer and don't like different styles.
